Chan Millanes talks about growing up in the song “Binata,”new song now available on all digital platforms.

Growing up is one of the hardest things in the world but 2017 The Voice Teens Philippines finalist Chan Millanes talks about the enormous part of being young in this day and age in the new single “Binata” released by PolyEast Records. “We can’t define someone just by how we see them or how we know them. Being a ‘binata’ is multi-dimensional when it comes to our emotional, mental and physical being. Someone can’t be defined as one thing. That it’s ok to be different and feel different,” Chan shared.

Layered with the Chan’s sound, which is soul/R&B, “Binata” translates the possibilities and journey of growing up through music. Chan added, “I’m still growing up and I constantly express my honesty about people, things and personal battles thru songwriting.”

Chan, now 16, debuted his original composition “Tuldok” which gained 1.8 million of streams on Spotify. “Tuldok” also received three nominations at the 2019 Awit Awards including Best Performance of a New Male Recording Artist, Best Pop Recording, and Best Engineered Recording.
